Engagement of Services and Fees
Fees published on this Website represent the standard fee for each service as currently offered. Fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of the Firm's professional time for the scope described. They do not include third-party disbursements, translation fees, notarisation costs, or filing charges, which will be communicated separately where applicable.
The Firm reserves the right to vary its published fees at any time by updating this Website. Fee changes will not affect engagements already confirmed in writing prior to the change.
Payment terms and cancellation provisions are set out in the engagement letter issued to each Client. In the absence of a specific engagement letter, payment is due upon invoice and within fourteen (14) days of the invoice date.
The Firm does not charge contingency fees or success fees. All fees are for professional time and skill, not for any particular outcome.

All Content on this Website, including text, design, graphics, layout, and underlying code, is the intellectual property of Seri Chambers or its licensors and is protected under the Copyright Act 1987 (Malaysia) and other applicable laws.
Sample contract skeletons or templates offered as downloadable materials on this Website are provided solely as educational illustrations. They carry a watermark to that effect and must not be used as executed legal instruments without independent legal review. The Firm makes no representation that any sample document is suitable for any particular transaction.
Documents prepared by the Firm for a Client in the course of an engagement remain the intellectual property of the Firm until full payment has been received, at which point all rights in the final delivered document vest in the Client, subject to the terms of the relevant engagement letter.
Confidentiality of Enquiries
Any information you submit through the Website's contact form or by email is treated with discretion. However, confidentiality obligations specific to your engagement are governed by the engagement letter and not these general Website terms. Submitting an enquiry through this Website does not, by itself, attract professional privilege.
You should not submit commercially sensitive, legally privileged, or highly confidential information through the general contact form. If you need to share documents or sensitive information with us as part of an initial consultation, please contact us by telephone first so that appropriate handling procedures can be agreed.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, the Firm excludes all liability for loss or damage arising from reliance on information published on this Website, including but not limited to indirect, consequential, or economic loss.
The Firm's liability to a Client in respect of any engagement is limited to the fees paid by that Client for the specific service in question, unless a higher limit is agreed in writing in the engagement letter. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, as such limitation is not permitted under applicable law.
The Firm does not warrant that this Website will be continuously available, free from errors, or free from viruses or other harmful code. Access to the Website is provided on an "as available" basis.

This Website may contain links to third-party websites or resources for reference purposes. The Firm does not endorse, control, or accept responsibility for the content of any third-party website.
